How to Play Crypto Bingo
Even if you don’t know how to play online bingo, you can’t go wrong. The rules are baked into the game and play out automatically, just like slots.
When you join an online bingo room, you’ll have a chance to buy some bingo cards. It’s up to you how many you purchase. The more you have, the bigger your chances of winning – but that also means a bigger cash investment.
Once you’ve bought in, you’ll need to wait until the game starts. If it’s a big jackpot game, you might be waiting a while. If it’s a regular game of crypto bingo, it’ll likely start very quickly. All of this information is clearly displayed in the lobby before you buy in.
Unlike real-life bingo, there’s no room for human error when it comes to marking off your numbers. It’s all done automatically. This means you can’t accidentally miss a number. You also don’t have to worry about being too shy to scream “BINGOOOOO” at the top of your lungs, as this is done for you too. Digitally, of course.
Bingo Scoring and Prizes
Most versions of online bingo have a single prize up for grabs. The first player to get all the numbers on their bingo card will win.
But this isn’t always the case. In 90-ball bingo, which is the most common version of online bingo, there are usually three prizes up for grabs. There are three ways to win these prizes:
- One line. Complete a single line (5 numbers)
- Two lines. Complete two lines (10 numbers)
- Full house. Complete all 15 numbers
On top of all that, some bingo games have a jackpot prize. Much like crypto slot games, these jackpots can be awarded in all sorts of different ways.
Some jackpots are very simple. For example, hitting all the numbers on your card to unlock the prize. But you also have progressive jackpots. These come with strict criteria that don’t happen often – but the cash prizes on offer are much, much bigger.
Crypto Bingo Cards
Because 90-ball bingo is the most common form of the game at online crypto casinos, we’ll take that as our base example.
The 90-ball bingo card consists of three rows and nine columns. That makes 27 spaces in total. Of those 27 spaces, 15 will be filled with random numbers and the rest will be blank.
So, why are there empty spaces on an online bingo card? To help you find your numbers.
The first column will contain numbers from 1-10. The second column is 11-20, the third is 21-30, and so on. They’re not necessarily in order, though. For example, you might find the number 18 in the second column, second row. Then, one space beneath that, you might see a 12.
This system makes it easier to find your numbers at a glance, but without making it completely robotic and uniform. Half the fun is checking to see if you have the number, after all.
