Crypto Roulette Betting Strategies
Some people will tell you they’ve figured out a way to beat crypto roulette, while others will insist it’s random and there’s literally no such thing as roulette strategy.
The truth, as is so often the case, is somewhere in between.
It’s true that you can’t “beat” roulette using a system. This is the same for all crypto casino games, and it’s why the house always has an edge.
But there are some systems which are likely to result in you winning, at least in the short term. The problem is that, if you hit an unlucky run, these systems can fall apart and cost you a pocket.
Let’s take a look at some popular crypto casino strategies to get a fuller understanding.
Martingale Strategy
One of the simplest betting systems around. The idea is very straightforward – place a bet and, if you lose, keep doubling it until you win.
Bets are placed on numbers that pay out double, like red or black, or odd or even numbers. When you hit a winner, you simply reset to the minimum stake again.
While this sounds like a winning strategy, there’s a gigantic risk. If you hit an unlucky run, your wagers are going to increase, fast.
It starts off easy enough. Lose your £1 bet and bet £2. Lose that and it’s £4.
Before long, though, things escalate. A losing £640 bet becomes £1,280, then £2,560, then £5,120. Five bets later, you’re betting six figures. After a few more spins, it’s a million or more.
Not only do you need a giant bankroll to cover this (and all for a £1 profit), but there are limits in place at crypto casinos. Eventually, you’ll hit your cap, and won’t be able to increase the bet any more.
Even though it feels like hitting 20+ reds in a row is a longshot, it will happen eventually – and you’ll be broke.
3:2 Strategy
In this strategy, you have five ‘units’ of currency. To keep things really simple, let’s call it £5. That’s five units of £1 each. You must divide this 3:2, which means £3 on one section and £2 on another.
The £3 needs to go on either red or black. The £2 goes on one of the columns.
The idea behind the 3:2 roulette strategy is that the bulk of your bet will win almost half the time, bringing in a small profit of one unit (in this example, £1 profit). Then, when the column also lands, you’ll make even more money. Columns pay out at 2/1, which means an extra £6 when it hits (£2 stake plus £4 profit). That’s £12 total if both land in one spin.
The column you bet on will also impact your odds of winning. Due to the spread of red and black numbers throughout the columns, red has the highest chance of hitting in the second column, while black has the highest in the third column.
Like most crypto roulette strategies, the 3:2 system can come undone with a long losing streak.
